Effective Strategies to Win
Tongits Go is not just a game of luck — the right strategy can significantly increase your chances of winning. Keep the tips below in mind for a better experience playing at jyay9.
- Build sets from your hand quickly: Grouping three cards of the same rank or consecutive cards of the same suit together reduces your points fast.
- Discard high-value cards first: If you are holding high-value cards like King, Queen, or Jack, discard them when you get the chance — this lowers your total points.
- Watch your opponents' moves: Pay attention to which cards are being discarded. This gives you an idea of what cards your opponents are holding.
- Call "Tongits" at the right time: Once all your cards are set, declare without delay. Waiting too long gives your opponents an opening.
- Set a budget: Decide on your budget before each session and stick to it. Responsible play is always more enjoyable.
